MODEL CALL! Lifestyle Newborn Session Tulsa

I’m searching for a fun and easy-going family to participate in a lifestyle newborn session at their home. The family must live in the Tulsa area, and the baby should be approximately 3-4 weeks old by the date of the session. Model release required. Lifestyle newborn sessions typically take place in the morning around 10 am.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are the perfect way to capture your new baby in your home naturally. This also allows you to get images in your new nursery, with pets & siblings, etc. During these sessions, we will capture your family in a way that you can look back on and remember how you really were.  Siblings do great in this situation as well, allowing us to capture authentic moments.  No posing (either of the baby or family) is done in-home, just some simple direction, which allows for natural connection and interaction to occur.

Please send the following information to [email protected]
-Your baby’s photo (without a hat on, please)
-Your baby’s birthdate (or your due date if baby hasn’t arrived yet)
-Where you live
-Tell me a little about your family
-Tell me a little about your home and include a few cell phone photos of your home taken during morning hours around 10 am (nursery, master bedroom, living room or other room with great natural light).

The session is complimentary and will be 1-2 hours and includes 10 high resolution retouched digital images of your choice. You will be able to view your gallery online, choose your images for download and also have a mobile app gallery of your images. Only families that are not working with another newborn photographer are eligible to apply for the model call session.

Fall lifestyle family session with my beautiful niece and her adorable family. Soon they will be off on exciting new adventures in Okinawa, Japan for a few years. I am so glad that I was able to spend some time with them to take some family photos before they leave, because three years is a long time not to be able to see them 🙁 But we had lots of fun exploring the park and found lots of places to capture these images for them.

If you want to add 5×7 Flat Christmas Cards to your package, they will be $48 per package of 25 and they include envelopes.  Here are the designs available. They are a watercolor design and will be printed on a specialty watercolor felt cardstock.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are an incredible way to capture your sweet little ones. This is a new path for me and I am loving it so far. I wasn’t able to continue to do posed traditional newborn sessions and stopped doing them, but missed snuggling those sweet little babies. Lifestyle newborn sessions let me continue to photograph wee ones and I am so excited.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are more flexible and if you are a procrastinator, they work out in your favor since you can schedule these sessions 2-4 weeks after your baby is born as opposed to the typical “within 10 days” with traditional posed sessions.

These sessions also take place in your home and allow you to capture your nursery and other elements in your home that are special to you. Lifestyle sessions capture connections and life as it happens. These captured memories will be the most treasured and special to you and your family.

To summarize lifestyle newborn sessions are:

  • in your home
  • focus on family connection
  • does not include props or posing equipment
  • does include shots of just baby (usually in the crib, on the parents bed, bath time, etc.)
  • can include family pets and siblings
